Frequently asked questions
Questions families ask.
Current information about Wrencrest’s plans, timeline, educational approach, and Founding Families Waitlist.
Is Wrencrest Academy open now?
Not yet. We’re in pre-opening development now, targeting a Fall 2027 opening after construction, inspections, licensing, and staffing are complete.
What ages will Wrencrest serve?
We plan to serve children from about 6 weeks through Pre-K, pending final licensing approval.
Does joining the waitlist guarantee placement?
No — the waitlist lets us keep your family updated and reach out when admissions open. It doesn’t reserve a spot.
What educational approaches inspire Wrencrest?
Wrencrest is developing a research-informed, Reggio-inspired framework and plans to use selected Montessori-inspired practices that support independence. It does not claim certification or a complete implementation of either approach.
How will families see what children are learning?
The planned approach uses observations, children’s words, work samples, photographs, educator notes, and possible next steps to make learning visible and support family conversations.
Have tuition and hours of operation been finalized?
Not yet. Verified tuition, schedules, enrollment policies, and availability will be shared when planning and approvals are complete.
What is CCW?
Child Care Works (CCW) is Pennsylvania’s child care subsidy program for eligible families. The form asks whether you would like future CCW updates. Selecting yes does not determine eligibility or confirm Wrencrest’s participation in CCW.
